Remedial Massage is a complementary therapy which aims to treat tired, tense, knotted or damaged muscles caused from exercise, injury or simply the rigours of every day life. It aims to assess and treat the muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissue in a bid to improve range of movement, mobility, assist with rehabilitation, pain and injury management. Treatment can be full body or targeted with sessions dedicated to specific treatment areas i.e. back and neck or legs and hips etc. Techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy and dry needling can also be used to help complement and achieve desired treatment outcomes.
