What is Shiatsu?
Shiatsu is a relaxing and invigorating way to reconnect with your body.
Shiatsu is a form of acupressure/massage that restores health and vitality by stimulating the circulation of energy throughout the body. It utilises acu-points (sometimes called trigger points), meridian therapy (energy channels) and stretches, adopting a holistic approach to treating symptoms as well as root causes.
Shiatsu can contribute to an improved sense of wellbeing by assisting in the treatment of many common condition/symptoms including: pain, stress, injuries and overall health care maintenance. It is a safe and non-invasive treatment for the whole family including children, the elderly and people with disabilities or injuries. Shiatsu is performed fully clothed, on the floor, lying on a futon.
